World Youth Day 2008, are you coming?

WYD 08 is going to be held in Sydney 15-20 July 2008. It's the largest youth event organized by the Catholic shurch. However, participants from different religion and denominations are welcome.

I'm planning to go next year and I've registered with the local community. Me and the other 50 will depart from Surabaya, Indonesia in July 12th 2008. How about you? Let's get to know each other cause we might see there!

Im from the philippines most its population 85% are catholics It had been 5 years ago I witnessed Pope John paul II visits our country then he warmed welcome of millions of Filipinos. I think The late pope was the one most celebrated personality around the world.

So I hope second time I will see another world youth day in our country in the future. May be it so far to count on the calendars.

hmm.. the pope hasn't visited my country yet... :)
i think it's easier to held similar event in a country in which 85% are catholics then in countries where christianity is minor
