Dogs are the best pet!

Well, I am a dog lover, so I will not argue with you, I have 2 dogs and they are just wonderful, loving creatures. Dogs may not work for some people due to allergies, or space requirements or maybe landlord restrictions but my first choice is a dog.

I have the most loyal dog. She's a five year old cocker spaniel and she's so great! We've only had her for about a year, we rescued her. Her name is Sophie and it took about three seconds before she decided that I am her human. She's not totally convinced she's a dog, I don't think. She's a good girl. I couldn't ask for a better dog.

I agree with you completely, in my culture, we keep Dogs purely for security and for hunting-we had one great family dog that would go hunting alone, and bring the animals it has caught right home. If the catch is too heavy, it would come home wagging its tail and leading a family member to the very place of the catch. This and many other stories about dogs make them the best human companion.

I am crazy about animals, and I have two dogs and two cats. I love all four equally. My male dog, Jackson, is a quiet chap, who simply adores me and loves to be cuddled. The female bullies me a bit :) and she is so smart. You are right, dogs are wonderful pets, so loyal and so intelligent.

There is no one "best pet" as it is a personal decision. The Dog is not a good pet for someone who has allergies, for example. Maybe a bird would be the best for them. Some people travel alot but want the company when they are home. For them a Dog would also be a horrible pet and a Cat would be better. It's a personal choice... nothing "official"

I agree with you. Dog could know the master's feeling in different time. And sometime,they will comfort through they touch and they action. Dog is a loyal housekeeper, I remember, when my dog was a little boy, he usually stay beside the door waiting for my parrents and I, when someone knock my door, he is very vigilant. It's really a lovely little child!

I love all animals but for me a cat is the best pet, I love theit independents, I guess they are more like me and I just think they are just beautiful and take less looking after but dogs are nice...

I think cats and dogs are equally wonderful. To me they're little angels that are there just to love you and be loved. Looking after an animal and giving them the best life you can is a wonderful thing to do. I have two cats and they're the sweetest, most loving things. I can't wait to get dogs too. If it were up to me I'd probably have a full menagerie though. I'm looking into tiny pigs that you can keep as house pets. They even use the litter tray like a cat! Sorry for being so sappy!

I have 5 dogs, 8 cats, and four birds. I have to say dogs are my favorite. I have a canine magnetism. Most dogs like me. My mom said that when I was a little boy, it was not too unusual to see a pack of dogs following me around. Dogs are very loyal to their owners. Cats, however seem to come around when your sick as if they know you are sick and are trying to provide comfort. They are easy to take care of..never have to bathe!

The only other animal I can think of is the monkey!!! The monkey has more expression in its face and is more like us emotionally. Dogs are amazing creatures.
