yes i think it can be i know of many people who have found, True love or watever, on the internet.
I think you owe it too yourself to persue it, i dont think we should live life wondering what if, and insted makes the things we want happen.

I think that online it's a friend. Day to day it's a relationship. Everything is always better when it's not face to face. You don't see the little things that can become things that bother you. If you want a real relationship with this person you need to spend quality time with them. Are you in the same town or does this mean one of you must move? That means a whole set of new problems to a new realationship that can make it's own set of issues. Good Luck and keep us updated.

I think you should ask him to have coffee together or to meet somewhere as you are having strong feelings for him. Well since both of your have lots of things in common I would suggest you to go for him, but you should try to know the person other tghan online. I think two years is a very good period of time. Most times the online friends does not stay such a long period of time. I would suggest you to go for dating with him for three months and to see if the relationship works on.
