I think the key would be; don't teach, let the student learn by himself. You must make sure to keep the student interested in, maybe by pointing to some books or movies he/she likes. The student learns by himself by working, that is for sure. There are no shortcuts. The teacher can provide some hints though. For example, when I was learning to read english many years ago, I kept reading the book even when there were words I did not know. I would only look up the dictionary if the word was of crucial importance to the paragraph, or if it was popping up so frequently, I had to satisfy my lust for knowledge.

Thank you for your response. But I think in my country, it may be very important to teach, because we have examinations and students should get high scores.
