What is Christmas to you?

an interesting question that almost all of tend to forget... well for all i've known christmass is the celebration of the birthday of Jesus Christ its the common reason, but my very reason I celebrate this season is a thanksgiving to God that we are able to go trough this year safe and sound... its a thanks-giving that we are still here on earth enjoying his every creation... In short a thanks-giving for HIS wonderful and great deed...

hello there nayakoni07, Im glad you ask.. for me Christmas is not the only day that people needs to exchange gifts, go out and have Christmas carol, or have a big party with such delicious foods. For me Christmas is the time of the year wherein we celebrate the birth of our lord Jesus Christ. It is the time of the year where people get together to show their love for each other. It is the time of the year to be with your family and the time to forgive all those who sins against you. A time of the year to have fun and be glad for what has the Lord given you and that is your family, friends, foods, and shelter. And so it really doesn't matter whether you have the most gifts received or the most beautiful house with Christmas decors or whether you are having the most special / delicious food around the neighborhood cause what really matters is that you are together with your family in this day and having fun while celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ... ^_^ MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!
