I am so excited. It is nearly Christmas and all my family will be home. We always have a wonderful Christmas. Our daughters are both married but on Christmas, they act like kids again. I just love it. That is my favorite time to spend time with the family. I love the memories that come from just watching them. Do you sons and daughters act like kids again at Christmas too?

From one that doesn't have family anymore I am well aware how precious these moments are, Christmas was always a great time for me too and I miss the whole thing so much, these times are the times you will always remember, treasure every second of them and take lots of photos so they will never ever be forgotten...

I miss my parents for sure. I haven't been with them for many months already. But I also can't resist the love I am feeling with my loving partner. This Christmas, although I can't be with my mama and papa, that would be very okay since I will be spending it with the greatest love of my life. Merry Christmas everyone.

I love Christmas too. My family will be here at the house. We will have an old fashion Christmas, (the best kind). We will have food buffett style. Ham, potato salad, baked beans, cheese ball, chips and dips, deviled eggs, muchies, relish tray, cheese cakes, and a few other things. Of course homemade cookies and fudge. I have a busy couple of weeks ahead of me. We will be having Christmas at my moms house the Saturday before Christmas. That day family from out of state will come in, also some family here too. Christmas day I will have my mom, my kids and grandkids at my house. I am looking forward to it. I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a Joyous New Year, its hard to believe its already almost here.

You seem to be very excited I do fully understand your feelings.Especially when children grow up and are away how we long to have them with us.Daughters are more open with dispalying their affection more than sons and that makes us as parents feel good. You must be counting the days when you will have your family get together.Enjoy every minute.Have a blast.I do not celebrate Christmas but have lots of friends who do.So I understand what it means.Merry Christmas to you and your family.

They do get rather excited at that time of year. I don't. I am still upset that my husband does not care about my traditions such as mincemeat pie, plum pudding, and yet wants me to enjoy the fruit soup the Mennonites make. I do love giving gifts, but to me Christmas is all about the cooking. At least we will be over at our older son's for Christmas and if my husband keeps the camera at home, I'll kill him (well not really!) but with our granddaughter growing all the time, we have to have as many pictures as possible.

Christmas is my favorite time of year...everyone will be home, except for my husband who is overseas, but i plan on taping every moment for him and sending it to him. Our children are still very young, 9..8..and 19 months, so their eyes always light up and and new side of them come out at Christmas time. Christmas for us is a time of joy and on that one day, no one fights or argues or worries about anything. i absolutely love it, and while I'll be missing my husband on this special day, he is still going to be with us in our hearts. God bless you and your family.
