Duty of every humanbeing is to take care of their near and dear
are not parents one's dear?then why is this old age home culture emerged
is this due to children that they dont like old people's involvement in their affairs?
if so why dont parents give their children the space they need?are the children correct?parents crossed all the stages of life
may be correct
or may be they are not

I think every situation is different, I know when I was looking after my mother with alzheimers I almost had a nervous breakdown, there are situations where the elderly in their want to stay in their homes can make it very difficult tor their carers, I never wanted to put my mother in a nursing home, it broke my heart but when I did I could see she was so much better off with the carers who knew how to treat her properly, medical care around the clock and they know just how to treat people with the conditions that they have, the elderly can become like children again and these trained people know how to treat them to make them behave rather than playing up to get their own way...it is sad that there has to be places like this but in my case I say thank God because I could not have coped....
