Why is better to learn english?

Look i just started to play an online game,after 2 years of playing it, i've noticed my english isnt quite good and ppl dont understand me.Was surprise the needing of team speek[a program where u can discuss voice with your friends].
This game offer you the chance to be a leader on your gang ,fleet whateva and also to call primary targets and secundary.
I was in this case many times and i wasnt able to pronounce well the primary and my fleet died.
About real life , i think english becamed a necesity for all countries. I'm from Europe a latin country from there , and most of us dont gain english well from school.I learned english from movies watched without subtitles or games from internet.
My oppinion english it's a must to be learned by all.We all choiced to say like this english as an international language.
Wish to know your oppinion and also if u ever failed :D on this.

like kemadruma had said, english is the universal language. you should learn it in order to communicate with other people. if you know how to speak in english, you can talk to anyone in the world. being literate in english is a very important concept that we need to indulge in. have a good day!

Craze, the problem is that i've meeted i've talked or tried to talk in english with a person , from Real Life i man.He did knew english but he answeared me i nhis language.Sometimes i belive if they dont like what is the sitation they will play as non-english talkers.And hehe he spoked with me 1 week before in english. Was amazed to see he play tricky and told me"I dont understand english, please [his language]" And ofcurse i havent knew his language.

because its a universal language, and to compete in world market u need to now it..except japan

Yes but there are countries who refuse toa belive english as universal lang, and this is a big problm.
About japaniesse ppl , i already have a friend joined my corporation and he is from Japan , and he knows english better then me , i am verry glad of this.
Also he try's to learn me the japaniess language ,wich is not hard but iam very confused all time :D and i give him headiches.
