What do u think about sessional(internal) marks?

heyy Guyz What Do u think about internal(sessional) marks.
There has been many cases where teachers often use it as a weapon against students whom they dont like.
Some guyz even get attendance shortages even after attending enough classes.
I wanted to know what you guyz think about this?
