It depends on your requirements. If you are a gamer than you have got to have a desktop.
Desktops can be easily upgraded, so you dont have to worry about the changes
in memory and hardware requirements. Desktops obviously are much more powerful than their more
sleek and mobile counterparts. I will always go for a desktop since I dont really want a lot
of mobility. If your job requires you to travel a lot than laptop is an obvious choice.

I prefer a laptop for its portability. I don't do a lot of gaming, and all the games I do play are small, light games.
If I'm fixing someone else's computer, I'd MUCH rather have it be a desktop. :)

Hi there!
Well, I prefer a laptop over a desktop since I'm not really into gaming and what I just do is surf the net, watch dvds and series and save files (photos and other documents). Besides, I love the fact that you can carry your laptop wherever and whenever you need to unlike a desktop.
Desktops are good but it's just not for me. :)

i prefer laptop than desktop because laptops are mobile and so it is easy to carry wherever we want, and continue our work without getting interrupted.

Well I also own a laptop, mine is similar to yours, it's a Dell Inspiron 6400, it's a great laptop to own.
I prefer laptops to desktops because there isn't much of a price difference and with a laptop comes mobility, and for a person like me who has to constantly travel for work, I will surely go for a laptop.

I can't even choose between them. haha. I like my desktop because of the big screen and more hardware options for it. But I'm also one of those spontaneous writers, so I would like to have a laptop around to type out my ideas, since it is a lot faster than writing in a notebook or pad.
