In many cases students cannot always keep up with the teachers. What If teacher expects them to struggle to keep up with them? Is that students fault or teachers?
Should the teacher try to be more understanding and think like students in order to get the message accross? What if teacher is trying to progress and the some students doesnt get it. For eg if he's using technical terminologies? But how would students ever learn if the teacher doesnt do so? Why would the teacher worry about understanding the level of students when he has a limited time-frame to finish up course? Whoz fault it is? teacher's or studentS?

Personally I think that it should be a joint effort between the student, teacher and the parents.
If the teacher sees that a student is having a hard time they should give a little extra time to that student to try to help them learn the studies. As a teacher it is their job to teach and if they are not teaching, even to one student, then they are no more than an overpaid babysitter.
If by chance the teacher is not able to get through to the student then the teacher should contact the parents and discuss alternatives in education. As that is part of the job of being a teacher. A teacher not only teaches but also learns from their students.
If the teacher fails in this then he/she is not worthy of the teacher status. As for the limited time situation as so many teachers claim, there is such a thing as after school, tutors, weekends, etc... Since as a teacher the student needs to come first.
Well I hope that this has answered your question adequately. Have a great day!!!

Its apparently a very good response to my to my post. I had an argument over this with my friend. It was all started over wether or not one should speak english in a group when their native language is another one. It will sound very strange to u but speaking english in my coutnry is seen as something superior over others. So some people do that aswell just to show off. And my friend gave me an example of a 6th grade class where a teacher was saying something in english and he thought it was not a right thing to do since most of the kids couldn't understand much of it. So i was very much in the favour of teacher and we had an argument. Thanx for u comment! It was really a good one!

If that teacher insisted on speaking English then she/he should have interpreted for those that did not understand English, unless of course it was an English class.
For example here in America we are taught foreign languages like French, Spanish, etc... In these classes there is to be no English unless it is to clarify a point and that is only at the very beginning. If this was the case it would be acceptable as that is the teaching decorum. Explanation in native tongue can come after class if they did not understand.
Now if she/he was teaching a Math, Science, etc... class that would be unacceptable since how can a child learn if it all sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher to them "Wamp, wamp, wamp, wamp, wamp..." (how could you possibly know that the quote says "I think this is a wonderful topic" if I did not just tell you?!?). :-)
Thank you for the compliment!
A great quote that I do not remember where it came from..." If you live to teach a child you will teach a child to live."
~~~~~HAVE A GREAT DAY!!~~~~~
i think its not the srtudent's fault that student couldn't catch the lesson, yeah he should be more understanding and try to appreciate in every achievement the student can get, and the teacher could only use technical terms if he's already teaching adult people coz am very sure they'd undrestand it but if not then he should not use those terms so that he could deliver what he meant smoothly... the teacher should not also expect high to his students... in short its the teachers fault his students couldn't learn...
What if he's teaching a software developing class like visual basic and he has to use those terms and how would students ever acknowledge those terms if the teacher doesnt use it in the first place. What i mean to say is many things u learn in life that are new to u. And in most cases if u have already learned u dont learn it again cuz u know it!
Actually this depends on teacher to teacher, some are good teachers even there is a limited time to finish course they use techniques so that every student is able to keep up with them, But somehow such teachers have become rare and that is why tution teachers are earning a lot.Somehow I feel it is a teachers fault if the point she is making is not going across the students.
Different people have different types of mind. They differ in behaviors. Just as they have their own type of face. I have two eyes, one nose, one mouth, but it all could not matching with you. we differ in face beauty. similarly we all are different in thinking, studying, teaching and learning manners. It is not necessary for a student that he or she should think like a teacher, who is teaching him. this is the thing which hinderance in the way of understanding or adopting the teacher's lecture by a student. mutual understanding is the basis. a teacher should be more than a friend. He or she should understand his or her student first and then he or she should expect from a student, that should follow the teaching.
Firstly, you shoul let the students be interested in the subject. Interest is the mother of success. And then, teach the students in an interesting way. They are eager to learn if they are interested and they'll learn well.
By the way, if the students have their own opinion and their opinion is so different but we can't call that one creative because the student just thinks very strangely. For example,learning language needs recite. and a lot of thinds depend on sense of language and can't be expalained but some students just can't realize this point and keep asking the question, what will you do?
