What do the stars mean with numbers in them?

Well I noticed after everyone answers one of my questions. There is a star beside it with a number. What does this mean?

The star is the users rating or mylot reputation. There are three buttons next to all of your posts for others to rate you positive, negative or turn you in for abuse.
You should rate others posts as well there will be three buttons by everyones responses and topics. You will get your star when you reach 100 posts. The highest star you can get is a 10 the lowest is a 1.
