I come across a lot of newbies wanting to know how to do some of the things here on Mylot, I just checked out the FAQ right at the bottom of the page and found a lot of answers to what people are always asking, I think it is a good thing for everyone to check out, it does answer a lot of things people keep asking.. might be a help to a few people about a number of things...

Thanks lilaclady. It's a good idea for us to recommend from time to time that members read the FAQ. The Guidlines and Terms of Use are also a good idea to be familiar with. I re-read them from time to time and often achieve a better understanding of things.
I would specially ask that before posting your brilliant discussion, please check to see if it's been done before and add your respone to that post that came first. There must be dozens of posts about abortion just to name one topic.
Can members also make sure that their post is able to be discussed. Asking people what their favourite colour is does not make a discussion.
Mylot is a great site full of friendly helpful people. If you still have a question, send a PM (personal message) to someone on your friend's list who has been here a while. I'm sure you'll get the help you need.

When joining something or wanting to know something, of course the first thing you would want to know are the faqs if then, what you are looking at is not in the faq then its time to ask question.

Unfortunately the one question that I have answered for many newbies...how to put your profile photo up.. it is listed as edit your profile, to up load an avatar, everyone who has been on a computer and forums are well aware of what an avatar is, I know when I first started I had never heard of that word, so we must not forget some people are not forum savvy as much as some....

Well, duh!!! If a site is any good at all it will of course have FAQ's and anyone with half a brain will read them right? I hate to say it but most of the people who join mylot don't bother and then wonder how everything works. What could they possibly be thinking other than "I'll make a few pennies by asking instead of reading"...what do you think?

I only mentioned it as I see many people asking how to upload an avatar, although it is a little hard to find the answer to that as it is under the heading of edit your preferences which I guess if you knew in the firstplace you wouldn't have to try and find it, plus seeing as I got caught in something by not reading the fine print so to speak I just thought it was worth a mention....some people may not go down to the bottom of the page....

it just shows that a lot of people is not reading any topic on mylots FAQ they just wanted to start and make money they thought is easy to get here in mylot.i have a friend here who have been paid by mylot 3 times already and says its not easy to get lots of earning here in mylot but if you get lots of referrals then you get more earnings.

yeah, my experience on myLot's not too much. Even I dunno a half about how to make my earning's better. Okay, I'll check FAQ. thanks. lol ;)
