Jury duty jokes

I recently heard some radio talk hosts discuss the matter and they had a ball, joking about excuses people use to avoid jury duty. Amazingly, a few of those excuses were actually accepted by the judge! Other excuses, such as the dog ate the notice, did not amuse the judge and were not accepted.
Have you heard any jokes about jury duty?

its important to attend
the idea is that people who are on trial for whatever bad thing get a cross section of society there to view and help the system to be fair
I always feel very ritechous and patriotic when I go in for jury duty.

Well, this is not a joke, but I did hear that a guy had a felony on his record and they called him to jury duty. I didn't think this was allowed, and I am sure they didn't pick him after the questioning, but it seemed really strange that they would even have him on the list.
