This book has caused numerous contraversy regarding the being of Jesus and his relationship with a woman in the bible named, Mary Magdalene and the foundation of the Christian and Catholic Church. Moreover, many verses mentioned this "Mary" than Jesus' mother including the first to discover Jesus' ressurection. Why is that so? In relation with this, have you grown more stronger in your belief and faith about the doctrines of the Church? Or have you started seeking more "truth"?

Not to be rude or anything but my question is this: the bible by description is said to be a collection of stories and naratives that reflect the lives and views of people of the past who seek to believing in one true God. There are two sides in every story, there are difference in views even if in a community. For centuries there have been many who tried but failed to brought out they're truth even being called heretics, but still it persist until now. But yes I'll agree with you, mine would be that rather than seeking other truths the truth I grew up with is my truth. If others don't see it that way then I welcome their views but still stick with mine.

I consider it a well-written piece of historical fiction (although it does make you think and ask questions, I've long been interested in the history of the "Church" and I admit some of the things in the book has some grain of truth, however small). And no, it did not shake my faith in anyway (I'm not a Christian devotee), but not exactly an atheist.

I would have to say that it solidified a decision I made long ago about the Catholic Church, Vatican City and the Vatican Bank- there are more secrets about this organization then we all know about- and most care to stay ignorant to the truth. Although this book is fiction- all descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals in the novel are accurate. The Priory of Sion is a European secret society founded in 1099 and it is a real organization. Les Dossiers Secrets, discovered in 1975 in Paris' Bibliotheque Nationale- these docuents identified numerous members of the Priory of Sion, including Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo, and Leonardo da Vinci of course.

I absolutley loved the Movie and the Book. I read the book first then watched the movie. This movie will really make you stop and think and I know a lot of Christians do not like or approve of the Da Vinci code. I am a very open minded person and I truly believe that this movie does point out things we need to think about. I do believe in God and I also believe in a Mother God. It seems like once we are taught something in church, that is what people are gonna believe. We got to remember that the preachers are people to and If many of us would do some research, their are missing books to the Bible. Books that the Catholic (I believe) did not want the people to know about. So yes, I do believe that the Da Vinci Code is possible.
