I think varicose veins are just a fact of life, so I'd just accept mine...
For the pain, I would guess painkillers? I think the pain comes from muscle strain instead of the veins itself. Perhaps wear less high heeled shoes and stand less if your job does not require it...

thats the biggest problem of all the not wear high heeled shoes. i am a singer and it is a requirement to wear heeled shoes. do you think wearing stockings will help, i dont wear stockings at all i am not used to wearing one but if it will help then i will wear. do you think it can help?

maybe it'll help if you were flat shoes plus don't immediately wet your legs after after like getting into the shower when you get home.... it will help if you put some of those massage cream on before you sleep :-) take care Roni

hmmmmmmm
I once told an old friend of mine I was studying massage.
He said, oh , ok, you can start a massage parlor in the back of my real estate office.
If I had , maybe I or one of my employees might be able to fix it for you.
I always have problems with my patela in the FRONT of my knee.

Hi, sorry to hear about your pain. A similar thing happened to me probably 4/5 years ago now. A massage lady said that i would get varicose vains. however, she also gave me a document which evidenced that if you raised your legs for 10 mins a day this would help all the collecting blood to flow back up to the heart. it means, lying on your back near a wall with your legs virtically raised. at first i found it unconfortable, but it has prevented me getting any visible varicose vains.
good luck and i hope you feel better soon
