The best soccer player ever

If i lived for 100 years, i would be able to answer your question. Unfortunately all i can offer is the best player i've see on tv, which is maradona. I look for entertainment value as well as effectiveness on the field. Both maradona and zizou scores very high on entertainment for me, but i do think maradona is more effective on the field compared to zizou. The best team on soccer would be brazil, purely on their achievement alone. Although argentina currently, plays the most attractive soccer in the world. My fav player would be messi. He's brilliant with the ball and so nimble that no defender can touch him without fauling. My fav team is man utd... i've a fan of man utd since 86.

I think Pele is still the best soccer player in my opinion. We call him the king of soccer. He had so many shots and people still remember him. He is just like a legend. As to my favorite soccer player, perhaps he is David Beckham. He is handsome and his shots are also very skillful.

The game has changed so much, tactically and in techniques. In the older era, there weren't just that many good players around to compete against each other. Now, with so many academies and the exposure soccer has brought with, every team in the top leagues has at least 1-3 world class players.
