I'm married for the past 1 yr but me and husband never seem to click on anything, we have constant fights. He is 6 years older to me and thinks i'm not matured enough to understand his problems. When I try asking him he says I've nothing to talk to you. We are away from India so away from family and friends, all the time he keeps missing them. I dont know what to do? at times I feel our marriage will not last. Please help?

Men don't like to open up...oops...I mean Indian men. My husband and I had the same problem. It's now after 8 years that we have got to a comfort level. It takes time and effort. And it's not easy (who said married life is easy?)
Its only been a year. He probably is missing his family and life in India and you are a new person (I am assuming it was an arranged marriage)and wants to be the protector and doesn't want to tell you that he is upset or missing his family.
Try to find out what he likes...and talk to him about what he wants and try to slowly get him to relax around you before you put your wishes across. Once he has opened up that should be easy.
Or openly talk to him (when he is not under pressure and in a relaxed mood) about how you feel and what can be done to make the relationship better.

Hi Sinha
as u r away from country and recentlu married so u need to be careful. u need to communicate with each other regularrly so no confusion created and u have transparent rellation
sure ur msarriage will last, u know what, Adoptabilty, trust, sincereity, and caring are basic tools to keep any relation going, 1 yrs is not time to understand each other
so just calm, relax and try to adopt new life style and soon things will be ok
wish u best of luck
