protection money

Here in my country many of the officer in charge are practicing this they ask money from the poor drivers who just want to earn a little money for their family. I'm so furious with this kind of doing but I don't know maybe its part of life. Sometime I'm thinking why they are doing this, what's their reason, They want easy money but they are not thinking about people who only want to earn in the right/legal way. Are they happy to do this.......... I fity the drivers who are victim of this shameful work, they are not human, they are easy going people who think only for them selves. Many of us want to earn money but not in this way let us think that drivers have family to support, life now is really hard all of the commodities are going high so let us try to pair in all the things we do. What will you do if you were in the shoes of the driver who is being ask to give "protection money".

I understand what you said.It is a complicated question.there are two side in this world.One is the light,the other is dark.it is evitable.I think protection fee maybe last about thousands years.no government can eliminate them.it is frustration.what a nuisance!but we can do nothing.like what you said ,maybe we can call the police.but who dare ensure no next criminal who charge the protection fee.like the dark and light,there must be a good sort and the against one.

People who are taking other people's money should be reported to the authority. The sad thing is most of them (if not the majority)belongs to the high authority like policemen and politicians.
Well, the best way to eliminate this politicians is not to vote them. To the police, you need a video or photos to have a better evidence against them.
