Does Dunkin Donuts Put Too Much Sugar in Their Coffee?

I ordered a regular coffee from Dunkin Donuts and was surprised by how much sugar there was. Next time I'll say cream only and add my own sugar.

Dunkin Donuts expects customers to take lots of sugar in their coffee. I always say cream no sugar and I repeat "no sugar" 2x. After I say no sugar 2x, I always get: "No sugar?" and a surprised look. One time I went to a dunkin donuts drive thru and ordered a large coffee with cream and NO SUGAR. I repeated the NO SUGAR, and I said, "Please, no sugar". After I left and was miles away at a red light I took a sip of VERY SWEET coffee. When I got home and spilled the coffee down the drain, there must have been at least a half cup of sugar in the bottom of the cup.

I know, I don't understand why they put so much in. I watched them one day scoop spoon fulls of sugar in a cup and was amazed.

Did you order just regular ole coffee or one of their blends? The last time i ordered coffee from there I just got a black cup of coffee, nothing added.

I ordered a regular and got cream and too much sugar. I usually ask for cream only, but I spaced out this morning.

You should have refused the coffee or took it back if they added sugar and you didn't request it. It could be they had a new worker who messed up that happens. But mostly the coffee I get is the French Vanilla and yes they are beyond to sweet. They want us all to lose weight maybe they should cut back on the sugar in the blended coffee they sell. Well, better luck next time.

i also ordering their coffee, but it was brewed, they will just give you a sachet of sugar and you're the one who will put that sugar on it. so what is it that you are talking about? i'm curious...

oh I see, i've never tried ordering regular coffee to them, i always say brewed. I will try it next time and I'll see if they will add cream and a "BAG" of sugar on it. hahahah!

If you ask for a coffee regular they put the cream and sugar in it. I've never had them hand me a sachet of sugar. I usually ask for cream no sugar and then add a splenda.

here in our place, dunkin donuts did not ever serve me coffee too sweet. it is served with a sachet of cream and sugar instead. maybe they are already aware that it is necessary that the customer will be the one who will mix the sugar and cream to their ordered coffee. so far i have never experience drinking coffee too sweet unless i ordered Caramel and Mocha Frappucino...
