With a brand spanking new year just around the corner, it's a chance to start a fresh, like a new page in a book.
2007 has been blotted with sadness, depression, bad events, upsets, heartache
2008 is a chance to open a new book and make plans to become stronger, to do things you wanted to do, to make resolutions, to forget what happened last year and to look forward!
Do you make plans and decide to change yourself only to come up to a few disappointments, upsets and give up and become the same person you were the last year, or do you push against the negativities and the old you and refuse to get swept away and make sure your plans survive the turbulent ocean we call life?
So when 2008 arrives are you going to make big changes and plans
And just how long will you keep to them?
How would you like to change yourself in 2008?

Well Wolfie,
'06 went out with a bang and thing's didn't get much better after the new year, but I'm ending '07 on a much brighter note so I have no worries that '08 is going to be much much better than before.
I'll try my best not to be disappointed about any outcome, I really tend to think that all thing's happen for a reason and something good is on it's way. All this trial and tribulation is just preparing you for the good.
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!
Bay Lay Gray xx

I am currently thinking of things I would like to do in 2008. Making resolutions is a wonderful thing to do. Believing that it is a completely new start is a way of getting and maintaining a better life. I would like to spend some quality time with my dogs, taking to the beach a couple of times a week. I want to groom Secret on Monday and Magic on Tuesday and so on through the week. On Saturday I will have a rest from it. I want to take them to a training course once a week. I want to go on many trips in 2008 this sort of adventure makes me very happy. I would like to have a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Coast and get over to the Isle of Man. I want to have one or more overseas trips. I am trying to decide where I can afford to go at the moment. I would like to finish mu clutter clearing in 2007 and maintain this well in happy 2008. I want to forget the little bit of sadness that I have had in 2007 and build on ways of having a nice life. I will take my vitamins every day as this is something I sometimes forget. I hope that you have an excellent 2008 that is a perfect and happy new start. Good luck.

I am not in the habit of making new plans or resolutions.I don't break life into segments of years. It is a single flow for me.But I always have to face the turbulent times as I move on.And ultimately succeed.I kind of got used to it.May be My destiny is like that.So I just make the best efforts and be prepared for the result.I have become so conditioned and hardened that the providence cannot have the pleasure of seeing the disappointment in me.

I’ll keep this short & sweet wolfie…no matter what we say, by the time 2008 ends we will be saying the same things about it as we are saying about 2007. so no plans, no determinations, no resolutions. Just taking each day as it comes and walking through life.

Hello wolfie? How are you now? Still howling under the bright moonlight? lol!!!
I can emphatize with you as the year 2007 has not been a good one for me either. As a matter of fact, this is the worst year that I need to endure in all my life. I just try to embrace the remaining days of the year with ease and aplomb.
I used to be a planner and a dreamer. Once an old relative advised me to not just look at what you can do tomorrow. Instead, you need to look at what you like to be 10 years from now. Unexpected circumstances and countless disappoinments disheartened me to no end. That's why I stop looking that far. I prefer to live for the present.
Whatever surprises is awaiting for me next year, I guess life still goes on. Sure...I like to have some changes in my life but it is best to just take everything in stride. Cheers to you for a Happy and blessed new year. =)

Really my only plans for 2008 is to work on getting healthier and work on getting more of our finances straightened out. Other than that I'm just hoping for a good year.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I don't really want to change myself as such, I'd like to do more and get to know some people in my area. (maybe) I'd like to do more charity and maybe focus on gettin at least of my sites "popular".. I just need to stay focus and work on those though.
I'd love to be more outgoing.

My plans to be realistic for 2008 is to get my feet under myself..I will hopefully build my biz some more and get the environmental needs help message out there...I realize I sound like I am pretty simple but right now my focus is getting out of bed each day and making life a bit nicer or easier for someone!

Change is especially difficult for some people, wolfie. I am one of those people. With the coming of each new year I do try to make changes that will improve my life and my situation in life. I do have some goals to aim for in 2008 that seem monumental to me just now. The most pressing concern my health, but I will do what I have to do. As for becoming a better person all around, I constantly work on that throughout every day of the year.

If you don't believe God has a sense of humor, just tell God your plans! lol The only plan I have at the moment for 2008 is to pass my pack test (a test for wildland firefighters; hiking 3 miles in 45 minutes with a 45 lb pack). I already was hired for my dream job in 2007; met a really wonderful guy in 2005, so life can't bet much better than this. Oh and by passing my pack test, I'll be qualified to be sent out west on the big fires next fall.

I have been a little depressed this year. I am not living the life I had planned for myself. I don't have my health anymore, I don't have a job anymore, because of my health, I don't live where I want to anymore. I don't have a very good relationship with my hubby anymore, because of where we live. I know I have to change things for myself next year, but I don't know how. So I can't make any new plans for the new year till I figure out how I can change things.

I just never make plans anymore. Everytime I make plans, they never work out, so now I just think It's so hopeless. So many things can happen in so little time. In 2008, I'm turning my whole life around and going to college. I planned to go this year but my mom had an aneurysm and she was in the hospital for 1 month, and I'm still watching her, I've been watching her at home and taking care of her for the past 3 months. I want to change my self completely and be what everyone that I couldn't be.
