Our poor guinea hen was murdered last night

by a gray horned owl. I woke up at 1am to a very horrible sound. I went to investigate and on the patio out back a gray horned owl had our guinea hen pinned to the ground. The guinea hen has been sleeping in the kitchen window lately. The owl must have swooped down and grabbed him. I flipped on the light and the owl just turned his head and stared at me. It flew away when I started to open the door, but it was too late. Tonight as the sun was setting I saw the owl up in a tree watching the peacocks. I hope they are too heavy for him to grab out of the tree where they sleep.

Oh that is so sad, this is the sad part of having animals where there is natural living birds and animals, my sister used to have a little farm and I hated getting close to any of the animals as they wouldn't be around for too long for one reason or another, that is sad for you...
