I watched the press conference today regarding steroids in baseball and I was surprised at the depth of the investigation from Sen Mitchells investigative team. I was surprised at some of the allegations and that they went into detail about club owners, management, trainers, and players. Lists upon lists. However I did not feel it was completely fair to list all of these people. With any employer in the country, there is a covenant in drug testing that confidentiality is of the utmost importance. So despite the allegations, does confidentiality not count for something here? Secondly, the Mitchell report tends to agree that most people have been doing steroids, and that those that used should suffer any negative consequences. So should McGuire be in the hall of fame? Does this change how you might feel about Bonds????
