i think fedora is bad os.. i changed my hard disk because of this fedora7. i installed the fedora and after that it didn't allow me to install windows.
do u have any experience like this????

Hmmm...I think you got it all wrong when installing fedora or windows. I have a fedora and windows XP all in one pc. They are fine. There are no conflicts during and after installation. You should recheck on how you installed your operating system.

There's more than one way to solve this problem. One is to simply erase the MBR and first 63 sectors from a Live CD that has disk management tools. The other is to do a low-level format. Fdisk should do the job; otherwise, you could use a tool like Kill Disk. Here's a direct link to download the CD ISO image (free DOS version): http://download2.lsoft.net/boot-cd-iso.zip

Did you remember to delete the partitions that you created for Linux before attempting to install Windows?
Linux uses Ext82 and Ext83 partitions, which Windows is unable to read. You can easily delete them by booting the computer from a Live distribution of linux and manually deleting the partitions. Windows would then create DOS partitions to install itself onto.

a hard disk produced by fedora??
I have never heard this brand,and my hard disk is maxtor.
it is good.I have used it for seven years.and it is still working now.
reninstall the os. you can install the windows first,and than install the linux.
maybe you can change your linux version.
good luck
