Hackers ... the computer internet geniuses ..

I know a few guys who could be considered hackers in the original/positive sense of the word: basically, just people who have an in-depth knowledge of computers and who can perform very advanced tasks with them and really know their inner workings, but they're not hackers in the typical way the term is used today. They're not criminals and they don't break into others' sites. They have jobs in supporting networks for people, programming, and things like that. That knowledge could be used in malicious ways, but to my knowledge, it isn't. I'm no hacker (in either sense of the word, good or bad), but I'm trying to learn as much as I can so I can get a degree in computer science and get a computer/IT related job.

Why in God's name would you want to do that. Do you know those people are theives and they prey on innocent people and they make the computer an unsafe environment. You only need one qualification, you need to be dishonest.

I am not a hacker myself, but I would sure like to know one. There are a few programs that have ripped so many people out of cash, it would be nice to take them down or take their cash.
