Do you get your flu shot or do you opt to pass?? i have heard so many go either way some say it makes them sick others wont live without getting one. i personally had my whole household get one this year for we are expecting a new baby next month so i wanted us all vaccinated for her sake. but how about you whats your take on the flu shot????

I myself do not get a flu shot. I am very rarely ever sick. My elderly parents do get them though. They also get the pneumonia shot every couple of years.

It is rather expensive for me to have that shot. Although my wife and my son got it for this year and so fat they have done good for them as for me I got my first bout of flu several months ago. Maybe I should have got the shot for myself but so far I am able to cope and is better now.

I'm high risk due to my immune system, but I don't make it a habit of getting them. A few years ago there was a shortage, and no way was I going to try to get one with elderly people and children needing them. However, this year I got one. For once my insurance paid for it, and I thought why not? If I get sick I'll be on my own, and it is free, so why not? I think it is always wise to have children get a flu shot unless otherwise directed by a doctor.

well whether the flu shot actually works i not, i get one every year. my immune system is rather poor, due to chronic pain so i would rather feel safer than sorry...
does it help? it only combats 2 types of flues while there are thousands out there. (the developers decide which are the most prevelant)

I got my flu shot only because I was working around a lot of kids at the time and my boss insisted I get one. I think I've been sicker this season then I have in the past when I didn't get my flu shot. So sick that I had to quit my job because I was missing so much work. I'm not sure if the flu shot was worth it for me.

everyone has a different take on it, ive had other who says it makes them feel worse than better and then others ive talked to say the opposite so i guess it depends on each individual person!
