Well this was posted three days ago, but this could be for next time. This is one of the best recipes for baking ham. After putting on any spices you like for example cloves, put it into a baking pan and pour 1/2 can of soda, (root bear is the best, but any kind will do.) (Also, when you pour the soda, make sure to pour it and cover right away, before the bubbles get out.) Then when it is almost down take the remaining soda and make a glaze with brown sugar to baste it. Cook a little longer without the lid until done.. Trust me, we use to take this to every carry in dinner and everyone went wild over it..:)

We always take pineapple chunks, spear them with a whole clove and shove the clove into the Ham. So stick half the clove into the ham, and then push a pineapple chunk ontop of the clove. Then i fill in the empty spaces with more cloves. I pour about.... 3 or 4 cans worth of 7 up, sprite, or serria mist over the ham and bake it. Its really good, we call it our holiday ham and we have it at chirstmas time.

I was outside one day when my neighbour said she had to get inside she had a ham in the Crock Pot. I said, "What? Ham is already cooked. Why put it in the Crock Pot?" She said she puts onion and and a bay leaf on the middle of a sheet of foil, sprinkles spices on the ham and then places the ham right on top of the onions. Fold 'er up in the foil and put it in the Crock Pot with a little bit of water. I've been doing it that way ever since.
