I take it you don't mean "Native American" like American Indian but rather "born in America"?
I was born in small-town Kentucky. I'm about half Irish and half Native American. I would never, ever live in Kentucky again, because I really didn't fit in there.
Right now I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The winters here are harsh, but it's a beautiful area, the people are nice, and I like it here.

I mean "Native American" whose many past generation was born in America. Who is immigrant and now a citizen of USA they and we all are Americans. I do not divide American or native American how they were. Some Immigrant has dual citizenship i.e. from where they came here - though we are all Americans. Nice to hear about you. Of course I heard about you from my best friend "edigital" you are friend of him and he said you helped him about religion hisroty of Pagan - he is one of great fan of you, he appraised about you to me.

I was just wondering about your use of the term, since I'm half Native American (Blackfoot tribe) in the other sense of the term.
Aww how sweet of edigital! We did have much discussion of religion, and I'm glad to hear it helped him with his questions. :)

Great question. If you are not a member of the 500 nations that were here when Columbus and the others came, then you are an immigrant. I am an "new" American from Virginia. But I was born in Philadelphia. I don't know how many generations my line goes back. And I could have a little Native American in my family but I don't know for sure.

I'm a native American born in Poplarville Mississippi. Ok, born in Biloxi because there wasn't a hospital in Poplarville. I now live and Florida and I'm loving life here. So are my husband and children.
