Does this really matter?

Many of us have to deal with annoying things about jobs that we would not care about ourselves as long as the job is getting done, you know?
What annoying things have you come across in your job day to day?
My most recent one were my cds being next to my cd player, but I was getting my work done. I had about 6 out. I have to put them away because of upper management coming around who has never said anything. To me, that seems silly and old fashioned as long as the job is getting done, who cares? Then again, I am someone who feels as long as you have a neat and clean appearance, then big deal about a dress code.
I feel next year is the time for me to look into another job after I am through this biopsy stuff. To me there are more important things than whether or not some cds are out, but that is me.

dear nangel...isn't it funny too, that each position or job you have, has these little annoying things that are unique to it..lol...i deal as a receptionist with some awesome individuals and some you wonder about, they're so out there, and the above also applies to my co-workers. some are out there, lol, and some are awesome..you sound like and earth sign in astrology, because i am a capricorn earth sign and it's hard for me to understand either about leaving some cd's out, when i'm doing my work in an excellant way..what does it matter, like you said in your discussion..have a good holiday season, and i pray that your biopsy is negative for cancer...stanzi

I think management is all the same in every industry, Where I work there are alot of cliques its quite annoying and very immature seeing as everyone i work with is atleast 30+, you would figure they would be past that by now. As for management, every place i have ever worked the management has gossiped about other employees to eachother. I think no matter what industry you work in your going to encounter people like this so you may as well make the most of it and hope they lower the retirement age lol

I think there are ANNOYING people in EVERY workplace, it sucks but you have to bite your tongue and never let it effect your job.
Old habits die hard, some bosses or other staff members and very bossy and perticular... all you can do is your best and keep on as if nothing bothers you.

I have a huge problem with the people I work with. Management especially. I work at a preschool and our management is very bad to walk around with extremely bad attitudes all the time and gossip about other employees. I'm not there to here everyone's business, ya know? I don't care. I'm there to take care of the children. The chicks I work with are really mouthy too. They cuss like sailors around the kids and I have a big problem with that. This is the third daycare I have worked at and it's always the same thing. I don't have a problem with the kids, but the fools I work with!
