i also use use freeware programs. most of them are very useful, effective and less bugs unlike other softwares that are on the market. you can visit this site http://it-aid.blogspot.com it has many useful freeware program and the site is always updated.

Try snapfiles freeware section, which I subscribe to, to get daily updates of freeware which have pretty good software, with user ratings, and some reviews. Many popular freeware sites though, generally include a trial/paid section, I guess to help pay for hosting the freeware section. Perhaps the only exception would be the open source type of freeware, without trial software.
