Do you think Capello will make England world champion? I think... no, Capello can not training Wayne Rooney:))

Capello is a great coach. He imposes the teams that he coaches discipline, they have a great defense. England has many good defenders and I think that time will bring the good results to this time. They are good, and they are worth winning.

Well I do agree that I don't see anyone making us champions, although if our key players gell and put in a good performance we won't be missing out each year. =)

the question should be can anyone?
since we don't actually choose players who deserve their roles and when we do they're dropped for par performers like lampard. I doubt we'll ever have a side which could do well enough to get near the finals, we need players to want to play and for those to be dropped and more players given the chance. example bentley, since he's showing great flair and skill at the moment for blackburn.
if capello remembers that our current team is mainly for name and club sake and do something like the above I'm sure he'll do better.
he's differently got class and knows how to turn games into wins. can his bossy appoach shine in our game though? since we have a lot of players who rebel from being told what to do.

certainly that he is a good coach,and have the ability to make the england team to be a world champion,but as you know that become the world champion,not just by the gift of the player and the couch,they are just part of many factors which act on it,just be more important.it's hard to say.

hi! I think on the contrary that Capello can make England world champion..I know enough well Capello's game...He has managed the uncontrollable Antonio Cassano - and he has won the Liga even if all have criticized him for one year - so...there's a possibility...remote but there is :D!

Capello cannot be worse than his predecessors. As you have said, he managed the uncontrollable Antonio Cassano and this will be a necessary skill as he takes over a team full of huge egos who are used to being the stars of their respective teams. All credit to him.

His resume and experience are definitely better than that of Steve McClaren. However, coaching at club level is different from coaching at International level. He will not have as much control as he wants over the players at International level. The English Team is now made up of good players who are complacent (big egos) and with no team work. They can't seem to play well together. Capello definitely needs to let them start playing good ball together. He also needs to be assertive and not let the players control him. He should be the one controlling the players.
