Dutch diplomat gives away adopted daughter after 7 years

Yes you read right. These Dutch diplomats adopted a baby of South Korean origin when she was 4 months old. After 7 years they placed her in foster care in Hong Kong, saying that she wasn't able to bond with them

It appears from the above article that when the couple had a biological child, they gave her up.
This was after 7 years in their home.

Isn't this heartbreaking for the child?
A nanny who worked at the house said the child was not treated like a real daughter and that she was unusually quiet.
I hope that foreign adoptions in general won't be jeopardised because of this.

Maybe Brad and Angelina will step in. Poor child..what a horrible thing to have two families give you away. I hope all works out for her.
