I am hoping someone out there canhelp me to find a work at home job. I am a mother of 3 who works full time in the mortgage industry, which is in the gutter right now. I am trying to make ends meet for my children. My daughter is 21 and disabled, my oldest son is in community college and my youngest son is homeschooled.
I keep getting solicited by places offering money to fill out surveys and sign up for triels with my credit card or places that want me to invest toearn. Can anyone help me? It's been a hard couple of months and the holiday season feels like such a burden this year.
Thanks,
Tess

It's so hard trying to make ends meet, especially when you have children to take care of. You really have your hands full. I was hurt in a car accident and am going through a pretty tough time myself, but thank God I have no children at home to care for, because I really don't know how I could do it. I really feel for you. Just keep your faith. About working from home, I really don't know what to tell you. I'm looking for the same thing, but so far nothing. I am a Fuller Brush Distributor, and that can make you a great income, but I have not had a chance to really get that going like I want to just yet, but plan on it soon. Fuller Brush is not just door anymore, you can do it all by internet now. You even get a website (when you join) that has your name on it, and when someone orders from it you are earning money. You can check out my Fuller Brush website at www.FullerDirect.com/bmi57 to give you an idea of what your website will look like. You can also call the recuiting Hotline (a recorded message) at 1-800-477-3855 and that will give you more information about the Fuller Brush Company. They are over 100 years old and still going strong. I don't know, maybe it is worth a try. Good luck to you and hope that life gets better for you.

Hi Tess and welcome to myLot. I'm sure if you give it a little time you will find this is a great place to make friends, have some laughs, share some tears, and all around just let things off your chest. LOL and fact is although I don't know anyone getting rich here you honestly can at least make a few bucks while doing all the other things.
You do need to be very careful on the Internet when looking for ways to earn money - believe me, I've been at it for a long time and still not 'rich' but have learned alot. My #1 rule is if they want me to pay money to make money there's something wrong with that picture and I move on to something else.
I have made some good money online doing freelance writing but other than that all I've found are things where to really make good money you need to know a lot of people or do a lot of promoting of your referral links - and you have to be very careful about doing that.
I'm in the middle of a big project right now but will send you a private message in the next few days to give you a few pointers.

Tess, Have you tried eBay? It's really the simplest business to start as you can start by selling things that you already own, rather than investing in inventory. There are seller fees, of course, but if you do some research to see if the items you have available do well on eBay, you can see how to price them and how to list them so that they will sell - and your profit will pay the fees. Plan to invest profit in new inventory, when you need more, and build your business that way.
In my profile I have a link to my ebay tips blog, plus I have a Squidoo lens (website) about finding stuff to sell on ebay when you get to that point. Take a look and read through those two resources and see if you can find answers to any questions you might have. Don't think this is the wrong time of year to start selling, either, now that Christmas shopping time is coming to an end. People buy things all year long, and lots of sales are made immediately after Christmas.
Selling on eBay is a business anyone can start and do well with. Your kids can help you, too. Try it! You can do it!
