Mark Best Response, how early?

how early do you mark a certain response on your discussion? do you do it early as you read a good response or do you still wait maybe someone will still response and can be a possible good response? i came across at a discussion and was just 44 minutes ago and has two responses and the mylot member has marked a response as best response. are you that kind that mark a response as best even the discussion is still young?

Most of the time I won't mark best response so early. I will decide to choose the best response for about one week. As I think it is not fair for me to judge which is the best so early. Perhaps there will be better response later. So one week will be suitable.

It takes a months for me to decide who is the best response for my discussion. I see to it that he/she is really the one who gave the best reason of what I'm asking or telling about.

yes because sometimes if we choose to early some members of mylot dont want to give their responses anymore
