Do you really believe that there is a globalization of the world? Is it true? So let's see... I DO NOT believe that there is in fact something called globalization of the world. There is just an Americanization of the world. In everywhere you look there are American movies, American songs, American names, American lovers. Open your eyes guys! Do you doubt?! So... First of all: if English is not you mother tongue and you are here discussing in this language, probably you are another victim of Americanization just like me. India is the biggest moviemaker of the world and when did you watch any Indian movie? Have you ever seen any Indian movie on TV? Have you ever listened to any Russian song? Have you ever dreamed about know Cuba? Or is your dream the "American Dream"? Again: open your eyes! And see what is happening... Know how to select just things that enriches your culture. Discard the cultural trash and make the true globalization happens! I know that I am here speaking in another language that is not mine, but languages are something that enriches my knowledge. I would like to speak here in Portuguese but it is not possible. Doing what? And so it is... Save the TRUE GLOBALIZATION!

English is the global language. You cannot say it is the american language.America has many culturesand people speak many languages, but the language of cpmmunication is english. Yes, I agree with you about americanisation.I feel that since America is rich, people go to America to make money and nothing else.

Ok, English is the global language today, I agree with you. But doing a language more important than other it's like doing a nation better than other, it's like agree with supremacy, it's dificult to explain because I don't have a goooood learning of English. It would be much better if Esperanto was the global language because it is neutral, it belongs to world-wide.

Ok, but America is the biggest representative of the English, isn't it? The number of American English courses in Brazil is bigger than British English one. And this number goes on increasing!

Globalization in developed countries began long ago with agreements between each countries. Now among the developing countries like India, China and Brazail (several others), globalization is taking place, leading the way for free trade between the countries, grant of visas for personnel and specialists etc. This is a good move so that all barriers of trade are lifted. Only thing one has to take into serious thinking is WILL THE DOMESTIC PRODUCERS feel the stiff competition? One has to produce the goods and services with highest possible technology otherwise the cost of production will be higher. The Unions have to take the backstage and those who work will stay. This is also giving opportunities to more and more export-import trade avenues.
