How is your Christmas shopping going? Are you done? Or have you even started yet?
All you guys should be honest, how long do you wait to start shopping?
Girls, how early do you start?
I myself, start Christmas shopping In August, after my moms birthday. Normally by now I have all my shopping done. I only have about two more to go, so I am doing well, just not as well as normal.

I have not started my Christmas shopping yet. I have been saving some of my money for Christmas. Most probably I will be going for shopping today or tomorrow. I have to go to office only on Monday. I have two days this weekend to go for shopping and for meeting some of my friends and relatives. I have to buy some good gifts for my friends and relatives. I also buys some gifts for myself. I like to give presents to myself also.

i still have a couple of things left to do. the part i hate the most is the wrapping! i do use some bags, but i think that my kids like to open the presents more than take them out of a bag. So, maybe today since the snow is coming down and will for the rest of the day,, i should get that wrapping done!

There is no christmas shopping for me this year because i decided to just give crispy bills to the kids in my family... future financial difficulties prompted me to do this... but in the past... i shop for christmas gifts as early as the first week of November and i usually finish everything by the second week of december... i miss those days... but maybe next christmas... i will be able to do some gift shopping again...

I just finished my shopping last week, I generlly start around halloween so I can get it all out of the way before all the crowds of people come out. I hate going shopping and having to fight all of the crowds and sit in the shopping traffic even on the way to work, I guess there's just no getting around it.

You start shopping by Halloween? I've got my outdoor lights up by then. Due to the fact I hate trying to string the lights up on a ladder etc when it gets near zero degrees. I started shopping around August actually. We buy sale items when we know someone would like that as a gift. Especially for the grandsons.

Well I am a guy. I've had my shopping done for a month or more. In fact the gifts have also been wrapped for a few weeks at least. I hate the mad insane people this time of the Holiday shopping so I try my best to avoid them by all means.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We mainly just buy for our kids and parents. I have an idea of what we're going to get. Then my hubby and discuss the amount we will spend and pick a day to go shopping. We did this last Sat. I guess there are still two items I don't have, but they're no big deal. And today I wrapped the boy's gifts. So I'm 99% done.
It takes such a load off since we don't have to get a bunch of grab bag gifts for different get togethers. That makes a huge difference for us. Even though they are fun.

I was done for my 7 yo grand daughter. Littlest Pet Shop stuff. She loves animals. But she had a meltdown from stress the other day and in trying to calm her and take her mind off it, I asked her what she asked Santa for. She said "I asked for a Baby Alive doll". I said "is that all?" she said "yes, that is all I want. It is all I ever wanted. Last year for christmas, for my birthday , this year, and no one will get me one. It is all I want and they keep getting me videos and games and stuff like that. I just want a baby Alive". .... guess what Nanny is getting that little sweetie!?!?! I had spent my budget already, but It was $25 at Walmart and I spent grocery money for it. I can go without food for a while to make that little girl happy - it is all she has been wanting! Mommy got her a Wii and she doesn't even reallly want that.

I am done with my Christmas shopping! Everything is wrapped except for the Santa gifts. That's only because I am hiding them in my closet and think they will just get ripped open in there. Now, I say I am done but I can't resist looking at more stocking stuffers every time I am in a store. I guess I don't really stop shopping until we open gifts! LOL I do start shopping in about September.
