As you all know I am going to visit my daughter in the UK. We are leaving Sunday December the 16 and will return January the 16 .
Thank you all for your friendship and support, I appreciate it very much. Don't forget about me, come and visit my page ever so now and then.
Look after yourselves, and know I am going to miss you ALL terribly !

What lovely Christmas wishes. Thankyou so much. My it's getting close now.....it's Sunday here now...I'm so far behind but at least I'm up to date on my Christmas preparations. It's been almost flooding here and I was going to spend Christmas day with my dad, but that's not looking good right now. The road will be a mess and will possibly be closed.
I hope you arrived safely at your daughter's and that you return safely to us next year...I'll be looking forward to catching up and hearing your news.

No Annie dear, it was not to be. I got all dressed up in my Christmas clothes very early and set out only to travel 4klms and have to turn back. There was a foot of water over the road and it went for as far as I could see. I have a little car with low profile tyres and the risk of being washed away by the fast running water and mud was too high. I was still able to manage my Christmas dinner and shared Christmas wishes via phone.
I've already planned next Christmas and my girls are coming to visit me.

Annie, you have only been gone a day, and I miss you already! I just got back from vacation in Baltimore and Cape May.......it was a true winter wonderland. Come back soon!
