I dunno if I'm going to be happy about this. I agree with others. Even if the value of peso is going stronger, I don't also feel this. Aside from the cost of gasoline, even the price of other products are still the same. So what's the use if the value of peso is going stronger if Filipino people don't benefit from it?

Wow its that good, but actually i dont believe that peso will be stronger, because im a OFW working in kuwait for how many years (11 yrs) i know what is big different now, before i send 60 kuwaiti dinar it will cost 12 or 13 thousand pesos and will help lot to my family but know same amount it goes only to 7 or 8 thousand pesos. and all items you need to buy in phil.is very high so i dont think so that it will help to all filipinos, it giving only more worse than ever.

yes, the peso value is going stronger but still the price of the goods are still high with added tax..it's that fair to all of us poor people?

Yeah, thanks to the OFWs. But hey, we should feel sorry for them too. They are the one who made the peso that way, but they are also the main victims. You suddenly can't decide if the hero is the one who saves or the one who needs saving. Not until the government provides sound policies for them can we really say that this newly found stength of the peso is a good thing.

i am a student here in australia having working permit as well...i usually send money to my family in the philippines...but right now, i stopped because i am still saving for my school term fee...well, it is just timely since the philippine peso is soaring high...i mean, i am really happy about this too...because i am planning to go back home and stay there for good...by this, i won't be deceived to stay outside the country to earn dollars...

Yes, very strong. But what is it to the consumer? Prices keep on soaring high. It is even a disadvantage to those who are receiving dollars because their income became low. Good if the prices get low also.
