How can you allow or make user or viewers download a file on the web?

I'm a newbie and I'm thinking to start to make a blog about downloading mp3's..but I don't know how to make the files to be downloaded on a blog..Can anyone help me?

Just uplaod that file in RapidShare or anyother File sharer and share that link on your website or if your website has enough space to contain those files then just upload there and share the link....but rapidshare is nice... like use one free webspace and i have enough space.i have created a folder their and uploaded all my softwares and songs and shared that link ..it's easy.. for further help..Ask.. :-)
