Do you still believe kindhearted people living in the world?

In bigger cities it is hard sometimes to get someone to give you directions unless you stop at a gas station or something. I always give directions when asked. When we were in NYC people on the subway were very helpful even though it is a big city. Probably because they had nothing else to do. Then at one point I think we were in a subway car with only tourists, and we were all helping each other. It was actually kind of fun even though we didn't know each other.
