What do you think about the list machine?

In case you don't know, list machine is a sort of chain moneymaking. For example, I send six people ten dollars each, along with a list of six people to whom they have to send money. They have to remove the top name, add their name to the bottom, and send the money to the six in the list. I know I sound a bit sloppy, but that's how it is done. I got the idea through an email, and I can't copy/paste the email coz mylot won't let me. Does anyone here know about the list machine? Has it worked for you?

If you dont have a product then its a pyramid scheme/scam. What are you selling? The word "chain" should be a key factor. Please tell me you didnt send anyone $10 expecting to get money back???? Positive mind is wonderful but please use common sense and caution when doing anything on the internet. Good luck

ha ha nopes, I am rather careful about money, and think twice and sometimes, thrice before spending it. I have seen plenty of spam messages about this chain moneymaking thing bang in the middle of some discussions on Myspace, and someone keeps sending me mails (spam again) about it. I just wondered what Mylotters will have to say about it.

Good for you not sending any money. Great topic though. Good way to warn others

sergeantrom is right; that's considered a pyramid scheme, which most of the time is a scam. Also, if you read the rules in Paypal, pyramid schemes are illegal and can result in a ban in your Paypal account -- along with the forfeiting of any money on that account. My advice would be to not try it.
