praying for wife/ husband

Recently, I got on this praying spree for my husband. I endeavored to soak him in prayer, morning and night, or anytime of the day that i have spare time. Most of my prayers are taken out of the book, Praying for your Husband, by Elizabeth George, while interspersed with personal petitions for him. Don't get me wrong, my husband is not wayward, however, I still feel the need to pray for him. He needs guidance, protection, and wisdom in his everyday life with all of his dealings. I believe my prayers will make a change in his life. For wives out there, really pray for your husband and see God's spirit at work in Him. And husbands, too, pray for your wife, when you see the need for change in her. Elizabeth George says that worrying about your spouse and your marriage doesn't change anything, even worsens the situation. But prayer changes everything. Do get good books or helpful prayer books to guide you. Then let the Spirit of the Lord lead you. God bless you and your marriage! :-)
