Recently, I got on this praying spree for my husband. I endeavored to soak him in prayer, morning and night, or anytime of the day that i have spare time. Most of my prayers are taken out of the book, Praying for your Husband, by Elizabeth George, while interspersed with personal petitions for him.
Don't get me wrong, my husband is not wayward, however, I still feel the need to pray for him. He needs guidance, protection, and wisdom in his everyday life with all of his dealings. I believe my prayers will make a change in his life.
For wives out there, really pray for your husband and see God's spirit at work in Him. And husbands, too, pray for your wife, when you see the need for change in her.
Elizabeth George says that worrying about your spouse and your marriage doesn't change anything, even worsens the situation. But prayer changes everything. Do get good books or helpful prayer books to guide you. Then let the Spirit of the Lord lead you.
God bless you and your marriage! :-)

There is definitely nothing wrong with praying for you spouse. My hubby works out of town a lot so I pray for his safety while traveling and when he's out working his job. His job can be very dangerous if he's not careful which of course he is but that doesn't mean someone he's working with won't do something stupid.
I know that he prays for me too since I'm home with my daughter. He prays for protection around us.

I love that book! I'm very spiritual but my husband isn't. And after reading that book and doing the prayers in it I just wasn't as concerned about his spirituality becuase I knew that it was being taken cared of. I also knew that God was listening to me and going to help me and my husband. You should add prayer to you intrests.

It would be nice if more spouses prayed for each other. Perhaps there would be more spared marriages. Its getting out of hand. No more regard for what is right. Good Job, Keep praying. It will change your Life !!!
