Did you Decorate your Christmas Tree Yet?Whats your Families Holiday Tradition?

Hi,yes we did 1 week ago and haha,i still have not put the finishing touches on it yet.I just seem to have too much things to do and not enough time to finish it.We put lights,balls,snow flake decorations,snow cones,a lace/crystal star on top and home made ginger-bread man decorations. Peanutjar:)

Yes we did decorate our tree. Our tradition is that we always go out the weekend after Thanksgiving and pick out a tree and cut it down. At the place were we get the tree the always have homemade cookies in the shape of Christmas trees, so we always get one for each of us. Then when we get home, the kids eat the cookie while the wife and I get the tree set up in the stand and put the lights on. Then we start putting on the ornaments. My wife will put up the first ornament that we got for our first Christmas. Then I put up the next years ornament. My wife and I alternate until we get to the year where our first child was born. He will put up that years ornament and his first ornament. He continues to put up the family yearly ornament until the year of our youngest child was born. She puts up that years family ornament and her first ornament. Then after that the kids take turn putting up each years family ornament. After the current years ornament has been put up it is a free for all. Once all the ornaments are up, we put on the tinsel on. Finally I along with the help of one of our children put up the star. The kids take turns every year. Once it is all decorated the lights come on for the first time and we all sit back an enjoy our hard work.

No we didn't get to put up a tree this year.. we didn't get a chance to get one so we are not going to bother this year. We have a little tree but i know its not the same. Hopefully next year we will have our tree up (a real one)

We put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving. My kids love to get to decorate it I put the lights on my 11 year old helped me put them on. I used colored lights for my tree the white ones are pretty too. We have alot of little ornaments from Hallmark on the tree and a few dollar store ones.

yes i already did decorate my christmas tree. if you have not yet then you are really far behind on your work and you need to get hustling before christmas comes in order to get it done. well when me and my family decorate our Christmas tree we like to make home made gingerbread men and decorater them. we have to overcook them or something so they stay hard and they wont attract bugs. they look so nice when they are done. it is more fun making them than most people would think
