Over the years of my development from adolescence to adulthood, i have come to appreciate the hippies, their life and their ideologies. I have come to the conclusion that the age of the hippies was a golden age. It was these bunch of people who gave us the idea of the flower power, the power to love, the power of peace. It was in their time that the true meaning of music was realized, time when the sweet music of great artists like Morrison, pink floyd could be heard playing in the air. They taught us not to care about things, Not to give in to people and not to accept bad things from people. Truly a remarkable age, a wise age where the wisdom of life was learned and shared. They did drugs, but nothing bad in it, just the TV world. It was their time and they lived it, some survived to tell the tale and some went into the books of history.
To end it all, the world needs them. They wont come back, but The reformation has started, it is time for the neo hippies, time for us to lead. Adieu.

I agree, brother. If I could pick any time to go back to it would be the late 60s.
It seems like there was more freedom then to do your own thing. People laugh at me coz I'm a neo hippie, but I don't care I just do what I do. Neo hippies of the world unite.
