nokia 5310 or nokia 5610

since i lost my phone, ive been saving money so i can purchase a new one, and ive been eyeing on nokia5310 and 5610... 5310 is cheaper, monoblock type, 2.0 megapixel cam, mp3, mp4, radio, capable, comes with 512mb memory card, internal 64mb flash and 30mb (i guess) RAM; while the 5610 is slide type (so its more prone to physical damage), more expensive , 3.2 megapixel cam, 60mb internal memry, comes with 512mb memory card, also good for mp3, mp4, radio capable, longer talktime, standbytime and playtime and music time... i dont worry about the money so much.. i think the 5310 is Php11700 (thats the cheapest ive canvassed so far) and the 5610 is maybe Php16000-18000,.. my brother is gonna pay for it!! hahaha...!!!!
so what do you think?? help me decide...

haha.. since your brother will be paying for u.. Take the more expensvie Nokia5610 :) with so much difference in the camera resolution and memory card, but the price between them is only so little, just buy 5610.. n_n hehe

I have a 5610. I did a lotta research before getting it. And just like you even i was considering 5310. I didn't get 5310 for two reasons,
Battery Backup - Not as good as its other variant (5610)
Camera - Guess with the slim design, there had to be some compromises with the quality of the camera.
Go for the 5610. The slide is not that fragile as you assume. It seems to be strong and resistant to damage. The sound quality of this phone is too good.
It simply rocks.

i almost bought the 5310 yesterday, but the store i wanted to purchase it from only has 128mb memory card, when all other stores are giving a 1gb mcard... **sigh** i dont know... the only thing that keeps me from buying the 5610 is that sliding effect and the price..

I think you should go for the expensive one, the nokia 5610. It's features as compared with 5310 is similar but the 5610 has extended this feature. It's capacity for music is much greater and it's camera is much more pixelated than that of a 5310. Since your brother will be the one paying for it then go ahead and pick this one!

Hi.
I have tried both phones. I've tried the 5310 last week during its launch in Davao City, Philippines while my sister has a 5610.
I prefer 5610 over 5310, but overall they feel the same. I like 5610's design more, and it is more flexible with the spinning action as compared to 5310.

so even if the 5310 only has 2mp camera and the 5610 has 3.2mp, its almost the same?? how about the sound? is it both good? coz my brother is always saying that after about a few months, the sliding action will be loose or something like that, so sturdiness wise, he goes for the 5310, but i like the feature and design of 5610.. so i really dont know, should i go for which is sturdier or stunnier...
