YOu mother is right. It is not her intention to put you in starvation, but to give an opportunity to help youself in preparing your food. If you are hardworking and very busy, it is understandable that your mother brings the prepared food to you. When you youself said you were sitting in couch, it is obvious that she has taken the right decision. It is our tendency to take the women folk especially mother, sister, wife for granted as if they are meant for serving us!! It is high time we change our attitude. They are just humans like us.
