What emotion is making you meet a mylot friend in person

I have found some friends who are of my age group and I think they can understand me very well as we have lot of things in common. I feel that it has been long long time since I really opened my heart to anyone. I have deep urge of sharing my experience with these friends as I feel somewhere inside they are just like me and want to share a lot with me too.......so besides friendship I think feeling of sharing life with people with who you feel comfortable may force you to meet some person. Bala, since you have excluded F R I E N D S H I P, which is the only driving factor, I would take the liberty to exclude love, admiration, respect, charm..for these are but the ingredients for making a good friendship. So I am left with my A D V E N T U R O U S mind, which would love to do something that never did before. It would be like an amusing adventure, no doubt. Thanks. I think friendship is the prime factor, when I think of meeting a friend in person. Interacting face to face with someone from mylot will be an exciting experience, I believe.

hello bala, i am quite confused how to answer your question.i believe that trust is something that is the beginning of any relationship,be it a virtual relationship as online friends or in reality.this trust and faith in somebody leads to start a friendship initially.and because of it we will take interest in eachother and will get to know eachother more.when we start knowing somebody from a closer perspective,his personality,we may admire him/her or dislike.that depends on us. and this admiration can lead to a lot of emotions love,lust,simple friendship,just to see a person that is out of curiosity,or know him better in real life or it can be anything.so for me it will be trust.if i trust somebody completely(though its very tough as i don't trust anybody easily,its a tough task)and wish to continue my relationship to a higher level i would like to meet him/her in person.but if i dislike somebody i won't even answer him anymore.

Admiration! I admire a lot of people on myLot. Every such admired person is different in his own right from others, each mylotter has his own set of wonderful qualities which is different from the rest. But to make me meet someone in person, I need to admire him/her deeply as a person and also all of his qualities. I've really experienced such desperate feelings towards a mylotter, to meet him in person. But that's seemingly impossible as of now, as we live in different countries and I'm not sure whether he wishes to meet me too:( Great topic, my friend.:)

well i would have to say besideds friendship would have to be admiration,caring and honesty.also trust in a friend.

I can think of a lot of emotions that may make a person want to meet a Mylot friend in person, but I am not feeling any of them for anyone on Mylot. There is friendship, like you mentioned. Lust, I guess it is possible to fall in love online. Infatuation, curiosity, lonliness, horniness. Need I go on. I just hope that anyone who meets someone from Mylot is very careful. Brings someone with them or at least let someone know what they are doing and where they plan to be. Just because someone seems friendly over the internet, doesn't mean that they actually are.
