Hi bala, I have been an impulsive buyer and this has cost me to surrender 2 credit cards and a bank account. Obviously, I was a freak who would buy anything alluring that would come in my way, especially girly stuffs. The month ends used to be a nightmare and I cannot beat my eyes seeing the bills. Did I really? Was it me? Why so much? My extravagance made me learn that at one point money's going to drain out completely! I gathered myself sooner than I did realize and held me back. I am still holding myself back.

Hi,we take our good ol time checking things out and even going to other stores to check the pricing of the same thing and then find the one thats the best buy for the money, haha. We never buy anything when going into the store for the first time for something, the salesclerks try sooo hard and just become insulted when we say we do not need help and just looking thing, haha.I guess we are a salespersons night mare, hehe! No, I am not an impulsive buyer. Sometimes I will try to be...but most of the time I am one of those people that say, "I don't need it." How I know I should buy it though is if I walked away and came back later and was crushed that it was gone, then I should get it. But if life would go one and I would later look at it as if it was a waste of money...then I will not get it. However, if you watched my partner...his response to everything is, "Well then get it." Every woman's dream...right? If she wasn't such an analytical thinker! ha ha

hello bala, a great topic indeed which will reflect how organised we are.by this atleast we will analyse ourselves.for me i would say i am very very selective when it comes to buying things.i get those things only that touches my heart.money is never a concern for me.if something catches my eyes and then suddenly it overpowers my heart i will definitely get it irrespective of the cost.it can be a simple earing from a road side vendor to a classy suit from a shopping mall. and i don't know what makes me buy the thing, its quality, quantity or anything else.i am not analytic over a certain thing while shopping.i just go on looking and exploring and when i get the right one i purchase it.you can say i am selective but impulsive.because the moment i select something i can't resist myself from buying it.

Usually I always know exactl what I'm going into the store for and I don't get swayed. But I do look alot and touch and wish. But if I still think that I need the item then I will wait two weeks and then I'll get it.

lol..I would say I am a salesperson's nightmare. I'm not an impulsive buyer and usually take my time buying stuff. I drive them crazy especially when they try to act too smart and are being too pushy. But there are a few good ones who have got me to buy more than intended and they've done that in a subtle way. I've always made it a point to praise them and put a good word to the manager when I leave.

Sometimes, I buy goods at impulse. But if I am with my wife and have to select a common object for buying, then we take considerable time to select an item. I can say...my wife is salesperson's nightmare...when she has to buy her own clothes....please do not laugh.....LOL!

When I shop in the stores, I am extremely impulsive. I remember one Christmas, I had like $2000.00 to spend on whatever I wanted to. I went to Rite Aid just to look around. By the time I was done shopping I had to call my sister to come pick me up. I don't drive and I had a basket full of things for her seven children. Thank God she was home or I would have had to try to catch a cab with all that stuff. Most of the time I am not that bad, I guess because I don't usually have that much money to spend on whatever I want to. But, there are times when I will go to the store, looking for something to spend my money on. That is a shame. When I shop online, I get to look up specifically what I want. If I do the impulse thing, I can always cancel. Unless, it is Ebay. That is a whole other discussion altogether, LOL.

i'm very impulsive 90% of the time. if i see something i like and have the money for it at the moment i usually buy it. if i don't have the money and really like it i'll borrow money from someone just to get it. rarely do i stop and think it over whether i should be spending the money or saving it for something important coming up. ...although i should do that! haha.

LOL, sometime I was impulsive. But mostly I will think twice. Because I am not a richer. When I see something is cute or I really want to have pay me much attention to, okay, I buy it quickly, no thinking, no discussing, no bargining.
