i also have the same experience with you. my discussions are only getting at most 6 responses, but most of them have only two responses. i have some friends who responded on my discussions. i am grateful for them. but for most of the time, les responses were registered on my discussions. so i respond most of the time than posting discussion.

When you figure it out, let me know too!! Sometimes its the day, and sometimes its the time of day. I think that most of the time its a lot of people have formed close friendships and get stuck talking back and forth and lose all track of time and don't even think about the other postings out there for hours at a time. They will find you eventually!!

yes i have had the same problem. my only discussion is quite quirky i must admit but i have only had 3 responses, i am not sure wh, i think it helps if you put alot of tags on your discussion and the more friends you have the more chances you have got of people atleast seeing your discussion. It is also a good idea to good and respond to many of your friends discussions and they might return the favour.

For me,the key was to find people who had the same interests as I do. I comment on their discussions and they comment on mine. I try to stay away from people who do not share my intersts though. Good luck

I am not very good at getting tons of responses, but I do remember that when just starting out it was a lot harder to get ANY replies, and as you make more "friends" you will start to see more responses.

I think it has something to do with being new on the Lot. My first two discussions still have no responses. But as time moved on, the response rate increased. Another thing that I've noticed is content. Scientific, sports outside the popular 4, deep thought provoking, etc. discussions get the least responses here. But cooking, clothing, traumatic experiences, personal or in the news, and the like, get the most responses. It's a matter of what the reader identifies with and here the lighter thought issues wins. Post a discussion on recipes and then another on baseball. Both popular activities here in America. Then tally your results. You'll see what I mean.

To start with there is likely to be poor response. But it will change. You increase your friends circle. I hope the topic you have selected is not wrong. Only thing it has not catched the eyes of the person of the same taste. You continue to try and you will get better result.

yes, there are so many interests under so many topics - some even duplicate...makes it a little tricky but you're right, the more i do here the more responses i see
