computer help! add web links to wordpad

im writing an ebook and need to add web(http)links to worpad?On the drop down menu I select edit and down the bottom in the sroll option 3rd from the bottom it says links in grey(not black) so I can not select it.so how do I add http links to my wordpad page before I convert to pdf file ?
